Why? What's wrong?
Seems OK to me. Yes it's expensive but if it's as clean as it looks then that's not far off the price they're going for now.

So £50k is a fair price? That's decent A110 money surely? Dell Boy to the front desk for an official current price guide please....

If that sells for anywhere near that I will eat my hat and put the video on youtube for you all to enjoy

Didn't the last half decent one from North Wales go for around £14k?

MaxiMan will give us the definitive info, but ;

The wales one was a turbo2, this is a turbo 1.
As I said, £50k is a little expensive (as it's not a historic rally car) but I wouldn't be surprised to see it sell for €50k (maybe €45k). Because that's what great mark 1s are going for on the continent. You may find a good or messed with (but not great one) for €30-35k.
As you know, it's not about being sensibly priced, it's about the price someone will pay.
So how close to £50k does the hat eating start and what type of hat is it  .

£25K recently bought the best original 1 owner Turbo 2 over here.

£12-£15K can occasionally buy an average car with some issues like the welsh RHD with a sunroof that went straight back up for £18K

Turbo 1 carries a premium but not that much and it would have to go back to France and the wheels and and seats would have to go. I know a man that has the perfect set of front seats in the right colour for that car. Only £3K to you sir if the car is worth that much

Maybe £35 - £40K with the right seats and wheels and the right punter. I couldn't pay that for a standard road car though. You would have to really want one.

Sorry, I hadn't noticed the seats or the wheels
But If it's immaculate otherwise. I'm surprised at maxi mans comments.
But he's the guy that know R5Ts.
El Presidente only knows the top price when he's got one!
Mark, so if it was A+, what would it go for ?

Mark,
I know the advertised price is different from the sold price, but having spent the last 20 mins looking on the Inter-web, there are a lot of A+ Turbo 2s for sale at €35k across europe.
An A+ Turbo 1 must be worth a 15-20% premium.

There are a few A++ Turbo1s and some Maxi Turbos for sale at €50 plus.

Andy ( the painter ) Make sure you do a proper job of my car I am planning to use it to pay of my mortgage in the future.....

I guess is the same old story with A110... why would you want one of them, when for the same money ( and get some change ) you could have a nice Porsche 911 turbo 2001 model year.

I can't see any reason at all for wanting a 911 instead of an A110, no matter the price. However I have said to people that they'd be better off looking for a period Elan or Europa (if you're short enough to fit) instead of paying double the price+ for an A110.
