Blank switches

Postby rupert » Tue May 24, 2005 10:29 am

There are two blank switches to the right of the steering wheel, used to control the A/C in some cars.
Anyone know where the ends of the wires are? The switches are located on to a PCB so there must be some terminals somewhere.

On the PCB. You can just solder wires straight to the PCB if the multiplug doesn't pick up these terminals. Someone had already done this on one of my cars.

I've done this on my A610 although not all switches were suitable. I soldered direct to the board as I could not find the termination of the cables. You might have to use a relay as the current they can take is quite low.
Driving an A610 is just so sublime.
