The Elan has GTA lights rather than the otherway round so yes the standard lights fit.

One corner of the GTA light disappears into a slot on the Elan. Elan aftermarket lights have this corner missing so they don't fit.

Found another car which shares our rear lights, well the A610 ones:

http://www.cizetav16t.com/V16T.html

Bizarre car and at 649,000 dollars I'm not sure the order book is bursting with names so I think our rear light supplies are not in too much danger..

Interesting though.

Does anyone else know of any other cars that have GTA/610 rear lights apart from the Elan obviously?

Not seen any other cars with these lights although I think both GTA and 610 lights have sold out now. We are looking at making a round LED light kit for the Elan like the Esprit V8 kit that we sell. Not sure they would work on an Alpine though. I was at the Lotus show at Donington a few weeks back and spotted one Elan with the 610 lights.

How about the Dax Kamala? Something like 30 of these kit cars sold before Dax sold it on and it disappeared -

I recall seeing another kit at a show years ago that used GTA lights but I'm buggered if I can remember what it was!

Who at Dax ever signed that off. It looks like a duck-billed platypus at the front. Did they get bored having used all their enthusiasm drawing the rest of the car. From the back to the Stratos windscreen it all seemed to be going well...

As for the headlights...

Dax Changed the rear lights to two round ones later in an identical shaped fibreglass mount as they couldnt get the GTA lights anymore. I spoke to the designer many years ago about purchasing them, but this was about the time they were going bust, so talks stopped.

Ah, you mean something like these -

If your eyesight is good enough! Only pic I've found of them.

I have to agree, not the best looking car, but I've seen much worse as well.......!
