I think Mr Dell was getting some copied/made? Might have to wait a while for those though.

I have 2nd hand ones in stock ABS and non ABS if they are of interest?

Sorry folks, this one is my fault- I have been promising Stephen my spare (but not usable) pair of A610 ones to get copied, but haven't got my finger out and done it.
610 ones work well in GTA's but not vice versa as they have stronger joints.
If Stephen sends me the address (or anyone else) I'm happy to send them out, provided I get the bits back and a chance to buy a new pair.

Cheers
Lee

Stephen did have a go at doing this, but the company used the wrong type of joint and they were too stiff.....CV joints won't work as they don't have enough lateral stretch.

Sorry to be a sceptic, but they have conventional CV joints in them, how much lateral movement is there? Unless there is enough, you'll stress the box when the suspension goes up and down- there have to be good reasons that Alpine used a bizarre and non standard joint initially, its like two inner joints, and that looks like two outer joints.
Will these be in JIL soon?

They have around 6mm max .....
Will have to see when it is all together but have taken measurements at max travels on the suspension and there is not that much movement required but it's getting close .
If it tightens up then we'll have to look at what needs to be done .The car is not going on the road and tracks tend to be pretty flat
Not going to be ragging it round Bruntingthorpe though

Better fit some hard springs then......fingers crossed for you. Original design is pants in other ways so if the CV type design works there is a lot going for it. There are off the shelf UN1 to ford adapters available aren't there?

I see what your saying Lee but the race car will have solid bars instead of springs and I know my car will have increased spring and damper rates and will be lower so this should restrict movement required? Maybe not compatible on a standard car ?
