So it fetches £2.5k without engine issues then £2.4k with a head gasket problem :? Honesty obviously pays :D

Anyone on here bought it this time around? Still a bargain if you ask me.

Maybe prices are genuinely on the way up, I personally feel it will start to happen, not that I am personally bothered as I aim to keep both my GTA's :P

I am thinking, if the A610 is getting recognised and prices holding and increasing it'll be like affording a house in a particular area; e.g. I cant afford/find a house in this area but the area nearby, a GTA  which is almost the same will be a good substitute?

I bought my 21 turbo on the basis, I did not have the money for a GTA at the time and fell in love with it, so maybe just maybe it may happen and the GTA is purchased instead of the more valuable 610, sorry I wont say desirable     , afterall there are many more GTA's on the road than 610's.

Another good point is that the remaining GTA's on the road are now in the hands of interested enthusiasts; so the jobs are now starting to get done the resprays are happening bringing up the overall standard of the cars available, I think the future will be a positve .

Its amazing nearly everywhere I have been within the sprinting world people always show an interest in the car and say I have not seen one of these competing or generally for years. They still appear to be an admired car and perhaps a car that many a young man or lady aspired to own back in the day. Maybe, if more had sold then there would have been a greater following. It is what it is tho' I am just happy (well sometimes  ) to be an owner :P

What was your offer then?

Looks like the winning bidder withdrew straight away or his "mate" pumped up the price  I guess it was a second chance offer when it was relisted then?

I've got money on a mate bidding it up .
One of the worse things Ebay ever did was to hide the bidders identity .

Which is great because they don't mind helping push it on the trailer when it breaks down

Nah Tony if I had to.rely on someone to push it on to the, trailer each time.it broke down I would never get it home lol ......its called a winch
That said it broke down in the middle of a small village in Yorkshire. May I thank.from.the bottom of.my heart the four pensioners.that climbed on the the front of.the tilted trailer to weigh it down; i had to load it with the engine at the rear as the road.was so.narrow no chance of.turning it.

Ps if anyone ever fancies some proper drivers roads and meeting some of.the friendliest people I have ever met :P Try the Yorkshire Dales
