best car at prescott

Postby andy001 » Mon May 07, 2012 8:21 pm

last year the best car award went to a willians clio, now it was in almost factory condition but this is the renault alpine owners club, so this year can we have at least a best alpine award or even one for each model. i don't think a big prize is needed but it would be recognition of all the hard work and money the owners have put in to thier cars.

any body have any comments.

To be fair, I won 'Best Heritage Renault' in 2010 beating the Clio Williams into second place. It would be nice to see another Alpine take the award this year and there is lots of nicely presented cars these days thanks to Andy F. As much as I like my car to look good, it is a 126,000 mile car that is used regularly so it will never be a true concourse minter but I do believe these things look best going fast on the road rather than parked up. 8)
