I bought it in 2003 and sold it in 2009, 1988 model, It went to sunny Australia, she is still running like a dream........... I think.

As part of my job I was visiting a company involved in making equipment for car wiring looms...they said..."Improved under bonnet wiring is the biggest cause of the reliability improvement seen in modern cars. New plastics mean the wiring stays reliable"

So (regardless of age or manufacturer of our cars)...I think Clee's idea or replacement GTA (+ 610 too please) wiring might be a good idea to get better reliability than when new...but it needs to be high temperature cabling.

Dull compared to power or handling improvements, but probably a good idea..

Get a Cayman R

But the noble will smoke it hard and it's cheaper, which was the reason my brother chopped his cayman R in as he was very dissaponted with it, the BMW 1M is far better and more practical.

'Very dissapointed'? Can I ask why did he buy it then? And can you confirm you're talking about the Cayman, as every single car magazine and TV show that reviewed it have all said it is categorically the best car they have ever tested to date.

Or are you talking about the Cayenne?
