Cheers Lee for running your eye over my new protege... fingers crossed for MOT and service.
Apologies for having to dash - made it back to Lichfield in an indecent time... to try and mend some bridges with wife.
For forum members, chap that did the transport of the new protege from Manchester back to R.A.T.S. did a great job - reliable, knowledgeable and good conversation!
Details available upon request - thank you Clee for recommendation.
Photo of new arrival coming here soon...

Lee - txt not received, txts sent to you and others but not getting through... phone quiet all day (bliss), no upset wife  until I realised I can't make or receive calls.... :?

Insurance docs through - just need to sort transport up to you otherwise you'll be left with a Hybrid Auris on your drive. Guess you could plunder it for parts!?

Will discuss the 'smaller' issues with you to see what needs to be done to raise level of vehicle standard.

All else OK with fluids and sparks?

Have you uploaded your pics to photobucket? If the easiest way to do it is in Photobucket if you hover over the picture you want there are four options which appear below the picture. Click the one that starts [IMG]http which copies the photo then go to the forum box where you are writing the message and paste in the box. If you then preview your message you should see the photo.

Lee - styill have a phone which is not functioning so will PM you.
However, have confirmed with DVLA what I need to take with me to get road tax.
Due to limiting factors I can't get the time at the moment to come up, get mot certificate, and then 'pop' along to post office.
Easier option - can you send me mot certificate, which I can then take along with all the other documentation I already have, get the road tax disc, then with no delay I can up and settle payment / collect car?

I'll PM address for MOT certificate.
Frans :D
