Yes for the summer (in what ever shape it comes).

Been debating about getting one from Simon Autos, however his aren't cheap and you are required to cut the slats out yourself.

Clear polycarb (F40-style) rather than painted would be very nice. 8)

I want one too, please :-)

IMHO, F40 style/quality looks a lot better than Simon Auto DIY unit.

I would be interested Lee.
I'm sure a bulk buy of some sort will be on the cards.

Think we'd need at least 5 firm yays for it to go ahead .Not sure on best manufacturing method and ' style ' for both cost and looks .
Far too large for their existing vac formers so would be some sort of heat draped form then hand finished/applied vents .
Dunno until I take one up and ask ,poss next week if I get a spare day

Mr Law actually has one waiting for collection from the southern plastic man.

Will post a pic up as soon as we pick it up.

Think there might be a proto pic on my phone if I trawl through.

Southern plastic man actually makes the F40 direct replacement rear screens that you see for sale but that moulding process was too expensive for GTA owners so Tony has gone a slightly different route similar to that described by Lee.

Pics and price then ?? Surely the plastic man has a camera ??
If a proto has been made then this should not take more than 24 hrs to let us all know
If I don't hear then I'll carry on sorting out the competition  :P

Only pic I have is one of the sample louvre shape I took on my phone when we dropped the rear screen off for moulding. 2 rows of 5 so 10 vents in total.

Routed out main panel, heat bent then bonded/fixed ?
Got to be the sensible option but really depends on the finished look .Could look too ' rally/race ' for a lot of OE guys .
If I could find a guy with a big enough vac bed then the cleaner look would be to machine slot then pull the shape to form the recess .

Must have an idea of price ??
