A youngish chap Andy came on Friday and came back Saturday and left a cheque so I am waiting for it to clear. I must admit seeing someone so over the moon about the car made me think I should have kept it

Cheque returned from bank insuficient funds and I can't contact the buyer or he is ignoring my calls. Thats it, I've buggered around wasted good driving days had to speak to people nicely so I'm keeping it and not going to try to sell it again. Classic Lemans 2014 I'll be joining the amnesiacs for another wonderful eventful drive down and some pleasant company.

Great news David, we can both now start a new fitness regime to be in better shape to push along the Autoroute whatever the President decides to breakdown in on route to the 2014 Classic Le Mans LOL...

Indeed we should, in fact I've gone back to working on site for 3-4 days of the week just to get back into shape or at least somewhere near that.

Its also given me time to think about what attracted me to the Boxster and its the combination of PASM and the Chrono Sport package which is available on the 997 Turbo S so its a case of now finding one that also has ceramic brakes bit of a jump in price though so careful planning and perhaps even hiding it from her indoors may be required, my friends are quite used to me doing this and most welcome the chance to have the car parked in their garage for a few months.

On the plus side I would say that is what they call in the trade "Fate" that you are now keeping it.

I thought it was a bit cheap at £14k anyway. I've been offered more for mine on more than one occasion and it has double the mileage. It's barely run in and worth keeping, you'll never lose on it . Just add to the fleet and hide from the OH.
