I agree it does, however I had a long chat with Chris Rabbets about these and he said he tried several other Renault ones (R9, R5, etc etc) and he said the problem was that the arm that connects to the actual brake pedal inside the car was considerably longer on the GTA application.

I think he looked into swapping them over but didn't have much luck. Hence why he has bought all my servo's over the years.

Maybe ask the seller what the length is of the connecting rod to compare?

Surely ought to be easy enough to weld the right length rod on?
Think i'll get one and see...

though as I know from my own experience it is the length of the little rod on the master cylinder side which is crucial

My little rod is still out 8) if someone needs the measure of it or how much it moves when pushing the pedal or so :)
Think it would be really interesting to find another servo that fits!

I've got the mazda unit now and I think it can be adapted pretty easily.

The 'protruding rod' is much longer than the GTA's 9mm (but size isn't everything) but I plan to get a metal plate made up to bolt on to this side of the servo on the mazda master cylinder mounting bolts just the right thickness to make the protrusion 9mm. This plate can have new mounting bolts for the GTA master cylinder.

I'll do some pics when I have time.

Nice one Rups! How about the rod which goes into the car and connects to the pedal?

Good work Rupert, this is just the sort of thing we should be doing save getting bankrupted by the robbing French firm
