gta turbo repair and respray

following on from clee's early bird thread here's the start of teglan's repair and respray







front stripped

could have been a lot worse, the bumper and nose have had it but the only damage underneath is to the front os corner.



os headlamp and mounting plate may need replacing



good thing is we have all the parts.

oh this is the easy bit but yes that damage will repair and then i can fit the replacement nose and get on with prepping the rest of the car. all will be fine.

Nah, a mere scratch, and certainly not financially beyond repair.

its parts and labour that strike the death blow, insurance companies only use genuine parts at list price, and with the alpines availability is a problem.

a lot of work done and now we're getting some good progress, the car is now all painted.















all handles out even the engine cover release out, just the mirrors to paint and then its the big biuld up.

total painting time 5.00 hours here's the first 3.00 mins, click the pic.
