Steering Wheel

Postby blueg33 » Wed Jan 02, 2013 3:16 pm

Happy New Year All

The black plasticote stuff is peeling off my steering whell to leave a nice brushed finih underneath (like the wheel on ebay), I am going to peel it all off, will the wheel rust if I do this or can I get away without lacqeuring it?

Thanks

Nick

It shouldn't rust no. I prefer the painted black look myself and you can mask and paint it back up again but it's what you prefer I guess.

Brushed looks much better than chipped and peeling black :)

If I get fed up I will repaint it.
