Why did it have a CAT? I thought D502's were all Le Mans??

Nope. 3 "narrow bodied" RHD GTA's also known as a D502 had the Cat fitted.

The D502 refers to a GTA turbo fitted with a cat. There were 485 left hand drives made and 3 right hand drive of which only one remains. The GTA Le Mans is a D502A . There were 299 LHD made and 26 RHD.
This is just some useless information that I have collected!!

It was at Le Mans last year. Methinks its tongue in cheek. Ingenious use of a flower pot worthy of many low volume car makers :)

Presumably Alpine once made a test vehicle like this. If it was for testing the lighting set-up of the A310 then, hopefully, they only drove it at night when it was really dark.

Today's dodgy yellow Alpine. To be fair, this one's not too bad and could be pretty awesome if a few things were removed. Bi-Turbo'd Evolution is good.. 8)
