Well it's back at long last.
Big thanks to Warwick for dropping it off on a trailer on his way back from Lee's, thanks to JohnC for fixing the speedo (yes really), Mr Faulks for ECU work and Lee for bolting it all together.
A few pics below after I gave it a quick wash.
Tucked up safe and sound in its new home.
Lots of small jobs to do, a lot connected to simply not being used for 5 years.
However I did manage to swap out the battery (for an 027 Bosch 'Silver') so that should at least ensure good starting. The voltage still seems a bit low so I need to clean the earth strap I suspect.
Re-glued the rear view mirror, so that's now fixed.
Drivers seat needs to come out as the mechanism has seized up - again lack of use I expect.
Other than that I gave it a quick run after putting 90 quids worth of Optimax in it and it certainly feels quick! It was only up the road so we'll see when I get more of a chance to give it a run how it has changed and once I've re-learnt how to drive it!
I'm just here for the gasoline.
