Funny that Paul just had my Venturi up in the air today and it is spotless apart from a knackered secondary water pump!

I don't know if it makes a difference, I am sure that all my metal on my 610 ( being a very early one ) is coated in a white protective layer, but I can see this is all black ( or is it trick photography or MVS protective treatment ) which seems to me nothing was applied to protect it.


Looking at the new chassis rails. One side are white/cream, the other black.
Trafic, Twingo GT, Vel Satis Turbo x 2, Clio V6 Proto Ph2, Vel Satis 3.5, Avantime, Alpine A610, GTA Atmo x 3, GTA Turbo x 3, R5 Gordini Turbo Mid Engine, Alpine A310 4cyl, Alpine A110, Yellow Smart

All bits back from powder coating + all rot repairs done 8)
Still got the engine to dress and build back up but it's only covers and ancillaries so shouldn't take that long .
Build up the running gear front is next .New bearings ball joints etc etc .

All looks to have turned out really nicely except rear lower arms but I guess these are always the rustiest due to crap design.

Yeh ,lower rears always worst but only due to thin easily ' dimpled ' base plate .It's all solid though .
Did you find out price/del/avail of new wishbones front etc ??

Shhhh, I didn't tell the new owner it was in a major high speed crash :shock: :lol:

Nope no suspension damage was done at all so nothing was replaced. It was all checked out Gangnam Style :wink:

Glad you like them, made to RATS requirements, hope the customer will be happy with them. It is going to look the nuts underneeth this motor!!!

Lots of bits now being reinstated .

Need to hit the logo on the cover with some emery and polish .
