Late type if you fancy the upgrade, wasn't Stephen selling a set of early's?
Simon autos were selling a pair of early rears...

Every option but the one you want?
Can't you get them refurbished? Simon T got some wheels straightened successfully, might be asking him who did it?

Cheers

If I had some metal to straighten the fronts then they would be repaired.

They are how can I put this, bolloxed! I'll keep my eyes peeled if any come up.

There is a place in the Scottish borders that does some really serious welded repairs, but you might be better off buying the 4 from Stephen (if he still has them) as that might be cheaper. Good luck!

TBH I would not recommend it, I have had 2 rims repaired over time and bought a set that had one rim already repaired 2 out of the 3 rims failed, the rim just cracking alongside the edge of the weld. When it cracks your wreck a tyre you may as well spend the money on another rim

Its ok if there is no other option and you use it as a short term repair.

Trust me if they could have been repaired I would have done. I have had several wheels repaired over the years by a Magician in Stoke On Trent, I can just imagine what he would have said if I had taken these bad boys to him...

mind you that said....The roads are horrific for potholes.in London.so thta is a big part of.the problem hit the rim on the precise place and crack it goes again

I tend.to just slow right down when.there are patcjes of know potholes not worth wrecking a tyre and rim...ask Mr Dell about the state of the split rims oue.to London.roadsn his 610  I think.all.4 needed sections.rim replaced due to London.Roads ..its a new modern sport call speed potholing
