D500 Wheels In France

Postby BIG_MVS » Thu Mar 07, 2013 1:47 pm

These are rare as hens teeth, good price if any ATMO owners want to put the proper wheels on their car:

Maybe enlist the help of a certain member in France

Also it looks like a RHD GTA has been bought into France and broken for spares:

Not a great surprise I guess with the price difference between RHD and LHD but lets hope most Alpines stay in this country.

Indeed rare beasts...go retro...
.I have a set of these in my garage complete with hard/perished rubber....trouble is the the tyres are even rarer (and expensive) ...the old TRX (Betamax) metric-sized ones.

I kept them for when I need my wheels refurb'd.

Quite liked the look of the splined centres..very 80s...shame the trouble/expense with tyres. The ride was pretty goodmin terms of comfort...and grip was also ok...not as good as modern rubber ..but not bad. Michelin may still remake thes in limited runs I think (or did)..long stonetyres were the place that had some trx.
