misfire

Postby pauld » Mon May 20, 2013 6:49 pm

hello all, the Venturi has an uneven running problem,
but it only happens at idle and when holding at a steady speed.
Under acceleration not a problem
any ideas please :?

Was it dong it before you replaced said bits ? Vac leak would show a constant rev issue .If it's missing then down to injectors or plugs masked by bigger right foot .

This problem happens as soon as the engine has started
and then left to idle.
No problem in starting whatsoever.
do you think it is still the ecu eng. temp sensor ?

I will have a look at the IACV, but even holding at a steady 70mph
the same problem can be noticed :x

It's ignition or injector innit .......or tdc but I'd expect that to either work or not .Gaps ,could be .
Just because you have changed the bits doesn't mean they are all OK .Check you haven't disturbed something ...injector plug ...spark leads all secure and tight to plugs .
