No looks nothing like that.

I know of another new old stock but may have same issues. May be best to send existing off to re-con. Or add industrial strength bars leaks or even better my new favourite steel seal which John already has experience of

As Clee asked, do you have a part number and picture?
If it's used on any other car, there must be a few floating around in europe somewhere.

Is the engine used in the B54B or should we be looking for a different indetification number?

.
where is it leaking from John? If it's at the back, that is a simple o-ring and you will be able to change that no issue.

Thanks for the help guys. The pump seems to be specific to the B545. I have sent a batch of emails to various contacts. Thanks alp_renx for the email address.

The pump is staying on the car so its mobile until I have a definite solution. The coolant system was designed around this pump layout so I really want to keep this style pump.

The pump is leaking from behind the spindle unfortunately not just an o-ring or core plug.

John.

Hi Dave,

The car will be off to Reader Air the beginning of next week. When exactly depends on the available time slots. I will tx you when I hear anything.
The car is back together and has had the tips modified, just paint and mapping then get some miles on it!
