I know of a car that can trump that...you can carry 2 kids in the back of it and when they are at school Daddy can fold these rear seats down to get 2 sets of golf clubs and a trolley in the back  Plus there is even more room in the boot for a packet of cigars!

I have driven a few 355 and 360 frazzas and they aren't as rapid as you may think it all depends on how they have been looked after! Also don't forget you can tune the Venturi easily due to it being turbo charged.
It is true Martin they are very practical for such a car.
Any how good luck with the sale Richard has to be one of the best RHD venturis around.

Rich, I think you need a specialist car man, someone who perhaps delivers and collects cars for people. For a fee he could drive it to Paris.
Do you know anyone like that?

Rupert, I sure do know someone that fits that description but its the vat implications in France that is concerning the guy.

Lee, no luck with the numbers. P.M'd with no luck also.

I don't want to depress you Richard, but it took my son a year to re register his van on French plates, and they wanted VAT documentation as part of the process, even though it was bought in the UK and then moved. He's lived in france for 4 years and runs a business there, so the language and bureaucracy are familiar to him.
You might also want to check if it'll need homologation papers before it can be registered, that might be hard unless Venturi still exist.
Best if the guy buys it from you here and then exports it himself...unless you're very patient. That way its UK VAt not French. LEt me know how you get on, we are considering exporting a LHD Smart for resale out there...
This seems to set out the process well.

Andy is the man for doing this I must say. Shame it may leave the UK rich but money is money!

Well Richard, if you've done it before, why the post?
Shame it's leaving, but I think your valuation is beyond UK expectations, it's definitely worth more in France.
In France where you register it is very important, every department has its own discretion and process, so if you get a good helpful office, it should go well, but get a difficult one and they want everything in triplicate.
Sadly vat on this will be quite a bit more than on a GTA tool....

I sold my Venturi into France and luckily had the Certificate of Conformity (in French) from when it was new. If you don't have yours, I suggest getting in touch with Nicholas Mee who may be able to help. Not sure why VAT would be charged as it's a private sale within the EU so they shouldn't be allowed but what do I know....

Thanks Martin. I'll give Nicholas a shout tomorrow.
The guy in Paris was just concerned about VAT implications but has conformation that this will not be an issue. Andy Holt also a good source of info.
