Especially if you happen to have accidentally unscrewed a joint and emptied the system yourself.
you can refil the system with Isceon 49, its a replacement for R12
You can also simply re-fill with RS24 the compatible replacement gas with no other changes
There is a white wire out of the loom which goes into the first red wire. On mine this is a bullet connector, but this does not look original.. This red then runs along the side of the compressor and disappears under a cover at the opposite end to the pulley. From this a second red wire comes forward and then disapprears under the pulley at the front. Sounds like maybe there is a cut on one of those wires if yours has two detatched red wires.
If you can't work it out, I might be able to get a picture of mine in a day or two and e-mail it to yo- let me know if ythat would help.
