HELP/INPUT REQUIRED FROM 610 OWNERS CALLING HEDLEY OR TUSCON

Postby BIG_MVS » Sun Oct 27, 2013 6:28 pm

Hedley or Tuscon - Could you let us know what's happening with your cutting out?

Tuscon - Please post pictures of the extra earth straps and what type of relay did you use to replace the injection replay with?

After the fixes you have applied has it sorted the issue or does it still do it?

Any other A610 owners willing to help please post.

Mine has been OK since the injection relay was replaced and the connections cleaned, however, I haven't done many miles recently. It's also worth noting the two occasions mine cut out this year were both scorching hot days. It may be heat related. I'll repost when I've covered some miles without drama.

The plan now is to fit the extra earth lead with a switch that can be activated straight away should it cut out. At least this will enable us to see if this is the solution if it does cut out again. If so the plan is to fit an inertia switch in series to make it a safe fix in the event of an accident. I'll report again once some miles have been completed.
