Stephen, how does the rear fit the handbrake mechanism? What size discs would be needed?

Thanks

Jon

Stephen,

Can you post up the specs needed front and rear disc size, hub height and the space needed behind the wheel?

Thanks!

So I assume they still don't fit under virtually all the wheels that fit on a GTA? Oh and 406 calipers won't fit under most wheels either. Is it not possible to make the calipers a little smaller? Otherwise we'll all be driving around with Team Dynamics Pro-race on our cars!

Well the only wheels you can get now are rimstock or image (and a handfull of others) so yes no choice really but they fit under all of those!

Azev A are a problem becasue the spokes are too far inset but you can't buy them any more so less of an issue. I think they fit under the special ones Simon got though with the machined reliefs.

you could have pretty much any wheels you want it's just a mater of using an adapter to make them fit..... normally a hubcentric spacer and a change of wheel bolts or stud conversion..... all comes down to how many dollars you're willing to part with team dynamics make reasonably priced wheels and are the easiest to make fit other makes will require as above possibly..... you could get some tramonts even which would be made to measure multi piece like image do...... but they cost as much as a decent condition GTA just for 4 wheels...

Thats the point, I have 2 sets of AZEVs I like very much but the brakes don't fit. I don't want to change the wheels, I want a brake kit that gives more clearance, I might see if its possible to machine the hub carriers and the caliper mounts to knick a few mm and then a few more with a spacer, little job for Johnny Boy :0).
