The ebay seller has been back to me now he's finished going through all the gaskets. Not good news, unfortunately, as all he has is one head gasket, left hand bank he thinks. If any do turn up, which he thinks is unlikely, he said he'll let me know.

Looking good....
Very pleased to see engine and chassis next to one another....and with her bottom in the air ready for some action.
must have been quite an operation to get the chassis into ratcave 2.
Bet you're glad to have the free space back at home.

I showed Mrs Williams the picture of the work in progress....aside from her very obvious enthusiasm for the refurbished running gear, rebuilt engine...and another safe, reliable, and appreciating classic about to arrive..she also (or rather, actually) said..."ooh..I like the yellow one......"

I take this to mean that I now have the mandate to procure a yellow a610..if funds (doubtful) should ever allow.... 8)
Just posting this here for the record.
