GT Turbo 2 Project

Postby Franglais » Mon Nov 25, 2013 1:17 pm

I recently bought a GT Turbo 2 from 1988 which has been in a lock-up for the last 8 years.

The project is to get it back to roadworthy condition

I got it started but it is overheating & radiator leaking.

So a new radiator is needed. There are several new radiators available on ebay. Which rad do members recommend?

Also need water pump, thermostat and head gasket

Does anyone do brake pipe kits for the GT Turbo? Or do we have to make up our own with copper pipes etc?

Any suggestions welcome

Thanks

Regarding the ebay rads there is nothing wrong with the winner ones and they supply a lot of the dearer places.

Any engine parts you need we will probably have them in stock.

Also think there is a brand new set of OEM wheels still knocking about.

Plus a front subframe and gearbox going cheap.
