0.9 is the standard boost level, but you will loose some of the reading via the vacuum pipe....also there are variables like weather conditions and the accuracy of your guage that effect it too.

No, if its cold (and it probably isnt that cold with it being summer) then it will boost more. I have a bleed valve and chip fitted that works nicely most of the year, however on a frosty winters morning it will cut out due to overboost.
Your maximum boost probably wont be reached at highest revs either.....watch that guage carefully and you will see the boost peaks then drops to a level. I dont know about your guage, but the one Ive got doesnt stay still for long enough and isnt accurate enough to tell the difference between 0.7 and say 0.8 bar.......driving the car kind of gets in the way of looking too closely as well!!!!

i was driving the car my dad was watching the gauage he said it peaked at 0.7 then dropped to 0.6 i did it in 4th gear starting at low revs so the boost could build up slowly for a more accurate reading

I thought 10psi (0.7bar) was the standard boost level. I've just bought a boost upgrade kit from D.G. which should increase it to around 15psi (1bar).

I've ordered a boost gauge, which I'm going to fit to see what it's boosting standard, before I fit the upgrade kit.

Ooops.......getting my bar and PSI confused!!!! Meant 9 PSI was factory, but it could be 10!
1 bar is 14.5 PSI.....your car sounds like its boosting fine.

..but its the wrong way though...

I checked my new yellow GTA today, holding at 8psi, ive now adjusted a bit and is now holding at 11, after peaking high, maybe down to a weak actuator or fueling.

Going from 8psi to 11 does make a big difference, even better when it's holding at 14!

i might have a tinker with the actuator today to see if i can raise it upto factory boost,i was was thinking of buying the boost upgrade kit from you but i might aswell wait for the ecu because the boost upgrade kit will be useless once the ecu is in place wont it?
