Philips Radio

Postby pgoldsmith » Fri Apr 04, 2014 3:57 pm

I've decided to reinstall the original Philips unit.
However, after making all the connections, it doesn't appear to work, not even ask for THE CODE.
I do know my code, so does anyone know what the procedure is to instigate it asking for a code?
It has been standing unused for around 8 years, so perhaps it's simply gone phut.

Thanks, I chucked in cassette and hey presto, it came up with CODE.
Put the code in, and it's working but looks like a dodgy aerial connection as I have no radio :wtf
I fiddle with it later.

Mine used to have to 'warm up' for 10-15+ minutes before it would pick up radio...
Could that be it?
