renix coil for a610

Does anyone know if a laguna v6 renix unit is the same as an a610?

Laguna definately wont be as it runs coil packs instead of a coil and dizzy. Some of the R25 V6 2.9 run the same part number. The internal coil are all the same and can be removed from the outer plastic casing. These can be bought new from ECP etc...

Also, regarding cutting out, on the A610 there should be a asbestos type alumium heat sheild around the distributor, to protect it from heat from the cat. Is it still there?

Done a search myself but its coming up clio 1.2i,1.4i,1.8i,16s,16v 1990 on for the first set of numbers,21 1.7i,2.0i,12v,turbo and quadra 88-94 for the second set and laguna 1.8i,2,0i 94 on for the third set

:? :? :?

No mention of my car,what one do i go for?

And no theres defo no heat shield on the dizzy cap just a thin plastic type thing

Go for the last set of numbers (laguna 4 cyl) S102020001

On the above diagram, no.22 is the heatsheild. If you havent got it then its best to make it as its £164+VAT from Renault :lol: (sometimes this pic may not work if RenaultParts is offline, if so, try later...)
