Slipping clutch in 3rd upwards, really bad in 4th n 5th, I cant get to the slave cylinder as turbo is stuck on, SO change the cluth I am, at least if I change the clutch and examine the internals of the bell housing I'll know that it's not the clutch. I wIll also change the slave when I have it out.
I have disconnected just about everything this afternoon ready to drop it out tomorrow.
I'll be disconnecting the gear linkages at the stick end to move them forward and out of the way as peter suggests.
I can not get the turbo off. The RH top bolt, behind the inlet turbine is stuck on. So I plan to leave the slave on the box and disconnect the pipe union which is just-under/next-to the box, as per the pics from the 3rd post on this thread. No time for a big overhaul but i'm sure to fix/straighten/clean/upgrade a few bits n pieces while it is out for a week or so. Cluth fork is on order, fingers crossed there is one somewhere in the Renault network.
