Sourcing Spares

Postby Tallman 1 » Sun Nov 30, 2014 9:20 pm

Gents,
Where does one go to for the usual maintenance spare parts in the U.K, Simon has a good range but I struggle with the Dutch Web site.
Also
Perhaps the following is unobtainable due to years gone by and a small market
I am after a replacement O/S Cibie headlamp lens
Outer dashboard surround, the plastics have gone very sticky.
Grey carpet set in as new condition or do I go to a car interior specialist

Your advice and possible contacts to try would be appreciated.

You could email Andreas Simon, at Simon Auto, in English. I've found him quite helpful.
When I've contacted him, I've tried to be helpful by using Google Translate to convert my English to German. Then when he's replied, I use Google Translate again to translate his German to English. It's worked quite well. His email address is [email protected]

Regarding the Simon website, I've used these pages mostly.
First the parts pages:-

http://www.simon-auto.de/alpine/englisc ... ge_pdf.htm

And the pricing page:-
Just enter the Simon part reference number in the box at the top left and hit the arrow to the right.
