Found it Martin. It's yours. Hopefully should shed some light as it failed in the classic way with intermittent hot running issues. I'll bag it up. I can post it to you or whatever.
But yep, it's a very smart charger.

But on the point of incremental improvements, and picking up Tony's point on breathing, power, and efficiency... I am now at the final stages of sorting my roller cam profiles with another couple of test pieces to ensure I have got everything correct before cutting the first set to be used in anger... that will be a really big day for me, been at this particular cam project in earnest a couple of years now... lots of little problems and mistakes, but I'm not going to bore you with that one
