Origine RS - Saturday 22nd August 2015

Back by popular demand and following the success of this event last year.. we present to you, Origine RS '15!

Once again, it will be held at the world renowned and historic, Goodwood Motor Circuit.. on Saturday 22nd August.

Last year we had just over 200 cars in attendance, with many of you taking full advantage of the track time available. For 2015 we shall be running the same sort of format, but will be working much closer with the Goodwood team to make sure track starting times are adhered to (we listened to your feed-back).

As far as I can see from the list on Origine RS, Clio 1.8 16V owners will need to wait until the last minute, to see if they will be eligible to join in the fun around the track? My car is completely standard, with new tyres all round if that helps

We would also like a bit of track time as I see the Venturi falls into the S2A bracket on that front. Cheers.

I'm in. All booked and paid for.

I have also booked the travel lodge Arundel Fontwell Hotel (currently £41 and been refurbed since we last went) for the Friday night.

The "posher" looking one across the road Arundel Fontwell Park Hotel is currently £54.

Looking forward to the event for this year as it was great last year.

One other penciled in ..... another awaiting an answer to a question.
Last year, at this time, there were 16 members signed up with hotels booked ....... no list of attendees at the moment, so I can only assume take up is poor this year.
I only have another 10 days in which to book the ferry before the price goes up by 20% ......... at the moment I don,t feel inclined to sign up or book the ferry and Travel Lodge for this event, which is disappointing as we really enjoyed it last year.

Don't panic John it will get more popular. I think it might have been due to WSR being the following week but that has now been put back a week so more may sign up to this.

no idea yet if I'm not going again this year .........too cold and damp to think about .....

I'll be going Jon if I'm free. I just haven't done anything about it yet as it's so far off so no need to panic.

Don't Panic John, most of us from last year are planning on coming again. Although you are correct about the apparent lack of names, the event last year was confirmed in December while this year it was only confirmed a couple of weeks ago and things are only just falling into place now. Hopefully you will come and have a more relaxed weekend than last year.

Lots going on behind the scenes guys.. We have had a slow start, with having to re jig to avoid WSR which has now moved anyway.. (face palms..)

Exactly the same set up as last year for those that were able to come along.

I had replied to Mr Dini via other means, but should commented here to, so apologise for that.

Attendees list will be added Friday/Sat after Stephen and I have gone through ticket sales so far. All I can say is that you guys are flagging way behind on numbers compared to the Clio v6 owners.
So come on... this year celebrates 60 years of the Alpine...! Let's see what you've got!
