Renault Owners Club members were entitled to a discount but it was at dealers discretion I believe, I used to get up 25% off and eventually we got a trade partners account, but that's long gone.
The best I get now is 15% if it goes on a stock order, although I have found Renault Wolverhampton very cheap if you're willing to pay a fiver carriage, but if the wrong bit comes and you're in the middle of a job you're stuffed. :hang

Lee is absolutely correct, Renault never gave an automatic discount on the basis of Club membership. They couldn't have offered a 'blanket' discount level of 25% anyway as they worked on a 7-tier discount coding system with some items discountable at no more than 10%.

However, get to know your Renault parts department well and you might be pleasantly surprised at what they can offer. I always ask what discount 'code' any given item attracts - routine servicing items often allowing the most. The dealership I patronised for many years (before its sad demise) were very helpful to me and discounted up to around 50% depending on the code. I invariably sat with the parts manager as he checked the screen for price paid, selling price etc so it often appeared that the dealer wasn't making a great deal on parts. The parts obtained directly from France were often the most problematic as they usually had the lowest % discount code. When I bought obscure parts on low discount percentages, my friendly parts manager occasionally pared the dealer 'profit' back to a matter of pence (1p being the record!). I was a good customer though!

Good luck!

:angel
Mr Dell took my order, handled it perfectly, posted it across the world to New Zealand, and it arrived as fast as stuff from anybody else I've dealt with in the UK, Germany or France.
And it can't have been my smile that did the job, cos we didn't Skype!
Thanks heaps Stephen
