unconfirmed reports that Signatech at least or hopefully Signatech Alpine will contest the WEC this year, instead of the ELMS or maybe even both. A much more prestigious series, but will only be racing for LMP2 class wins rather than overall wins as they have become accustomed to in the ELMS series where LMP2 cars were the fastest class.
It will, however, be without British driver Oliver James Webb who has signed for the Japanese SARD team for an interesting, Toyota powered WEC LMP2 project which will involve him being the "gold" driver with up and coming drivers taking the other seats in much the same way as Nissan have brought on young drivers in their GT academy programme (presumably these ones have actually driven real race cars before being taken on mind).
Nelson Panciatici and Paul Loup Chatin have been retained as drivers and will be joined by a third driver TBA.
never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.
