A310 coming up at auction soon

Postby bigtrev200 » Fri Apr 24, 2015 12:05 pm

I've just seen this green beauty coming up at a German auction next month. What do you reckon it will sell for? https://www.classicdriver.com/en/car/re ... 978/300216

There's a 78 one on Mobil.de going for €18k. It looks very tidy in bluey silver but it's been 'fiddled with' by fitting a front & sides spoiler etc.
I'd guess it'll get around €30k but that's just a guess as I've seen a lot advertised for €20k plus but don't know what they finally went for.

As a side note, my yellow 78 car (now in spain and painted blue) was originally that colour.

From what the photos tell you it appears to be an original car except for the sound system and additional speakers. On the surface looks a reasonable car.
This one sold in auction in France in March this year for 34200.00 Euro, approximately £24,400.00; so who knows what the Berlin auction one might reach.

I notice there's an A110 in the Berlin auction:-

https://www.classicdriver.com/en/car/re ... 970/300215

Seems to be marketed as a 'rally theme' car with the dashboard instruments, door decal, door string map pockets, roll cage and huge sump guard. Just wonder whether the turbo boost gauge is connected to anything. ;) ;)
The 1300 G badges on the front wings are, presumably, an addition as the engine isn't a 1300 G as it doesn't have the cross flow head. Perhaps the engine has been changed............. :sarcasm :sarcasm

I'm confused. Looking at the Fuel tank and wheels, I'd have put money on this being a spanish production car but it suggests it's french :?

I agree.

The spare wheel is a standard Spanish wheel and the two large dashboard dials are definitely Spanish - Carga, Gasolina, Agua, Direccion.

The description does imply it's French 'The 'Alpine' was first delivered in France in rally make.....'. Maybe the rally theme was done in Spain before it was 'delivered' in France. Who knows.

Results for both the A310 and A110:-

https://auctionata.com/o/117004/renault ... a-110-1978

https://auctionata.com/o/117029/renault ... model-1970

The prices include the buyer's premium.

So they confirmed the A110 was a Spanish car. surprised it reached €68k.
The A310 at €23.5k didn't look like a bad buy for the mileage and condition.

Nearly 70k euro for a Spanish V85 is a shocker!

That's near as dammit £50k GBP
