Ok, so the mirror is "fixed" so on to the next little task.
The headlights are in a sorry state. Whilst it was sitting for those years, one side even had plant growth wiggling its way inside! The headlamp covers are the sh*ttest thin perspex imaginable (probably 1mm thick) and all furred up on the inside too. For now, just want to get access to give them a really good clean up and then maybe even replace it with some new sh*tty perspex!
These photos actually make the headlight covers look better than they are in person.

Whilst removing the sidelight from the nearside headlamp, a big pool of warm water drained out! Hadn't even notice that it was filled up and had been working too.... well enough to get MoT.

So decided that easiest access must be by removing the headlamp assembly into the front luggage area. Fail! This is as far as I could get the assembly without breaking anything! Any tips anyone? Should I be approaching this another way?
