1988 Renault Alpine GTA Turbo (D501) now available for sale privately from Renault Owners’ Club Member. Car was on SORN from January 2006, I bought her April 2013. Since then she has been completely re-commissioned and was put back on the road in July 2014. Specialists, Renault Alpine Tuning Services (Derby), carried out a lot of the recommissioning especially at the rear, including repairing rear suspension turrets, new SS body mounting pockets, all new rear suspension bushes, frame and running gear repaired/ blasted and powder-coated the frame, wishbones and ARB. New calipers/flexible brake lines and brake pads fitted all round, new engine and gearbox mounts, new ARB droplinks. Discs were replaced in the not too distant past and are not worn/scored. Remainder of chassis has been stripped, refurbished and Waxoiled. Wheels refurbished and plenty of tread on the tyres. Bodywork is basically unrestored and shows it age in terms of stone chips and a few of the ubiquitous Renault fibreglass paint micro-blisters, but is nevertheless still drawing appreciative looks at the car shows. The interior is all original and in nearly ‘mint’ condition. Engine starts first time every time, does not smoke or use oil, runs a good oil pressure and cool water temperature and pulls like the proverbial train! Gearbox likewise smooth with no noise. Stainless steel oval exhaust system. 12 month MOT ticket.

I get classic insurance/3000 annually/agreed value with KGM for under £80!!! (then I am old!!!)

Hmmmm....thanks! Beginning to regret putting it up and being without her......phone and text were going within an hour of going live!
BTW, there are more pics on Pistonheads where its advertised too if anyone else is interested.......
