Well after having the car tracked at a well known Company the car drove well but the steering did not centre it's self and it never felt quite right, The car when I got it have been lowered and an awful lot of adjustments had obviously been made. I then put the car totally back to standard shocks and springs and back to the original ride height. So in the end someone gave me a number of a guy who all he did was tracking mainly for racing and he had supposedly had all the kit to do it, so I decided to spend the money and see if I can get it right once and for all. 6 hours later it's done everything was out one big mistake was on the rebuild I have put the lower wishbones on the wrong way around however it was still miles out, plus the rear was miles out. all the spaces that Matters gave me have been used apart from three of them. What a difference and can now see the difference between a normal garage job and the real deal.

What kit did he use? Since I have stripped and rebuilt my Gta it feels mighty nervous a ton upwards, like it has mega toe in on the rear, which is a big disappointment as I always felt I could crack on safely and it never felt like you were near the edge.
I have swopped from 255 AVS's to 225 Toyos and am wondering whether that is a factor, anyone with somewhere trusted up t'north?
Otherwise it may some ebay laser levels and angle iron...................

Hope the A610 feels better now!
I had mine set up at Elite in Essex, a tyre specialist but they seemed to know what they were doing and to follow all steps of the process accurately. After the process the car was much nicer to drive and the tyre wear reduced massively.
They used a hunter system which I think is the most common system found in the UK, but not the system used by Custards specialist, judging by the pictures. Hunter have a website, alignmycar.co.uk that has has a list of centres, but I know that's only one system and there are more places that do this work. Some are Kwik fits, let's say that some places are better than others, phone a few and see what they say before choosing.
Surprisingly my local specialised tyre supplier did one of my other cars using the same system as elite, they didn't do such a fastidious job. It came back with a number of measurements stil out of spec, but still feeling much better than before.
It took elite about an hour to do my a610, but that was on the second occasion, on the first they couldn't align the rear as I had a stuck bolt....let's not go into how long that took to fix.
Glad custards car is now working properly.
Before you take your car in, you need a set of rear suspension shims.....I don't know if these are available any more, but should be simple enough to get laser cut.

The Alpines are not the easiest car to adjust compared to modern cars, this guy knows his stuff NAD UK 07786 350306. I found that when the normal garage looked how thay had to adjust things all of a sudden thay did not have the time to do it, if it was mour than steering rack adjust. It was not cheep.
