Here are my efforts.

Firstly went to Jodrell Bank today with LITTLE_MVS.

Image

Then stopped off at what was one of the last Petrol Station's in Cheshire to sell pukka 4 Star fuel. Used to treat my first GTA Turbo with a drink here. Jubilee Garage in Holmes Chapel. Shame to see, probably have a few houses on it this time next year.

I must say, You have that car looking great! I remember what it was like when you first got it! Top Marks to you. :pray

I may use that garage shot for a back drop, if you're ok with that!
It is a shame when they re-develop a place. I was, only the other day, looking at some old photos of old victorian terraces I lived in during the 60's... They were considered slums at the time, but I had some good memories of playing in the streets and "knock & Run" games.... It was re-developed in the 70's with huge ugly cement pre-fab tower blocks. So glad I moved out of that town before they went up!!
You should go back to that garage, and take a few more photos for posterity...
Vince..

Here's my car at Teignmouth earlier today...(on way back from Torquay at about 7pm.......car was dirty after 2 weeks away, and full of junk...I was rushing to get back from hols and catch up with the family...I was the luggage car ...so the shot is a bit lame...as I could not go looking for photo locations.
I did not have the front to stop on the bridge at Teignmouth and block the traffic to take a photo...that would have been a strong contender for winning shot !!!
185 mile trip home but the A303 was quiet. I also enclose a shot of "Stonehenge, Druids, and GTA by night" ..shame this one did not come out..:)

Here is my A310 with a Vulcan bomber taken from the viewing area on the A15 at RAF Waddington.

Shame about the picnic table and gate, I could have done with parking in the entrance or on the road.

Right Saturday and off to France to look for a tree lined road for that perfect shot. ;)

That didn't take long. Then it was time for some blue on yellow action with a friendly Meg :up

On the way home we found a massive chair to play with,so we did

The next day we went down to the coast and then along to an airport, which was nice. :)

And so to bed but not before Spidy had finished playing with his torch. :D :D :D

I just want to thank a few people before I go. First to Andrew for coming up with the idea, I have really enjoyed getting out over this weekend and trying a few new things. Made me think how good it is to own these cars and be part of this friendly club.Must also thank Simon for taking the time to come and humour me on Saturday. And i couldn't have taken the last photo with out a lot of help from Tia :D
Great to see the other photos and I look forward to meeting up with many of you down at Goodwood next weekend.

All the best

What no Woollards? Shame on you people.

Fear not I am prepared to make a fool of myself and pose with flowery shorts whilst looking at a rear mounted turbo charged power plant.

Blimey Paul that's looking low! What suspension have you got?

Spax coilovers, I must admit the front is a tad low, probably raise it slightly before Goodwood.

Didn't get a chance to get out over the weekend, but this morning I took these pics.
The first one is the Alp on the north coast

Image

The second is same place but shows the Paternosters reef mid way, and in the distance, Sark to the right and Guernsey to the left on the horizon ......... sorry about the glare from that big light in the sky, but could not resist the pic with that backdrop.
Hope I am not too late. :(

Just used the R5 as regular Sunday transport, saving about £15 on petrol compared with the Subaru - maybe I should do that more often!

Arrived in Manchester in time to take this shot courtesy of the driver of a catering van who kindly waited for us to finish before entering the stadium! Great match & result :up

Then eschewed the use of motorways in favour of a leisurely return journey through the Peak District - Here at The Roches, Staffordshire's most Northerly point

Hope everyone else enjoyed "Use it Day" as much as we did
