Best Oil to use

Postby BIG_MVS » Fri Sep 02, 2005 6:45 pm

This has probably been touched on before but I can't find it under the search facility.

What is the best or recommended oil to use in the 2.5 V6 Turbo?

Going to change the oil and filter over the weekend.

Cheers,

Martin

Long story short, Silkolene Pro-S 10w-50 is the best for the GTA Turbo. I'm using it in my car and it's really good. 2-3000 miles and it's still like new as well! :D

OIL

Postby BIG_MVS » Thu Sep 08, 2005 8:46 pm

Cheers guys, went for Mobil1 15w50(on offer at Halfords at the moment £30 for 4L) in the end as I could not get hold of the silkolene stuff with any haste!!

Seems to go OK and oil pressure seems a bit better too!
