Argh! Indicator lens oops!

Postby r5gordini » Sat Mar 05, 2016 4:59 pm

I was jet washing the A610 last weekend. Unfortunately, the exhaust from my petrol washer was too close to the car at one point and it did this:

I must admit it took me a while to figure out how it happened! And I am rather disappointed by it! Initial searches suggest Simon Auto only has complete units available at 300+ Euros! I am hoping there is an alternative...

It's also taken some of the paint off the wing. I can live with that, but the indicator looks so ugly as it is!

Mr Dell has got quite a few of them, in his "pandora's box"
Unfortunately he had to put his stock into alternative storage, so it maybe sometime, before he can gain access.. But maybe worth asking, as I know a few of us ( Myself included ) have asked him for spares, so he may decide it is worth opening the box and digging out a few goodies for us???
Yes the price of them is unbelievable...

I have new ones for around £150 but as Vince says they are a little inaccessible at the moment.

Mr Dini,
Make a list, as I know many ( like myself ) are making a "Backup" supply for future needs...
So you could make a few quid...

No way! I want to simplify my life, I already sold the brand new steering wheel and a new battery tray, in less than 24hours!!.

Will post a list soon, I have to admit, most parts will end up on Fleabay as German and French buyers will pay a bit more for parts that will also fit LHD cars. Sorry, but I have an expensive Italian car to restore and a drunken Banzai to run.

That's so last year. New way is to just lock them up in a container. Inaccessible and no shelves. lol

Happy that I was able to help and also to empty my alpine parts box in the loft some more.
I'm now glad that I only have a few A610 pieces left...
Set of Discs and pads anyone...new?
Wheel bearing set, genuine Renault.
Gear for headlight motor
SH engine bay fan for Turbo (I don't need one of those anymore)

That's all from memory...I'll have a peer and see.
