A310 fuel line

Postby Øyvind » Sun Mar 13, 2016 8:13 pm

Good evening. As I went for a little walk under my Alpine tonight, I discovered that no less than two fuel lines run from the tank and back to the engine. I wonder why?

One (larger diameter from memory) is the pump suction line from tank to pump and the other is a return line from the pump to the tank to return fuel back to the tank that is in excess of the engine requirements.
