help wanted, Oulton Park Sat 15th October

Postby eastlmark » Thu Oct 06, 2016 12:56 pm

Posting here just in case folks never look in the motorsports thread. Need pitstop help with our Clio
at Oulton Park on Saturday 15th October. No experience necessary, you will need to help belting the driver up
during the pitstop mainly but any help with the car during the day would be appreciated. (tyre pressures, torqueing wheel nuts, lugging tools into the pits etc) Have at least 2 tickets spare for
this meeting so can bring a friend along. Free burger van lunch and a days racing ticket in return. Someone interested in hanging around race paddocks would be ideal. Not seen timetable yet but probably need to be there from around 10 am for practice, race will be at some point in the afternoon.
Thanks.
never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.

I'd be up for this but I'm otherwise engaged. Shame cause I'd love to belt you up Mark :angel

A rare Saturday 3.00pm kick off, not messed about by TV schedules, otherwise of course I would be at Oulton Park. It's a great circuit which I am sure Riku will enjoy, so best of luck to the team! It's one of only 2 circuits I have driven properly. My wife and siblings kindly bought me a day at the Nigel Mansell Racing School for my 40th birthday, so where did those 20 years go? If it rains, watch the exit to Lodge!

Thanks anyway Rob, did not mean to not ask you but given my geography north of Watford.... Although I knew you supported City, I thought you lived Mallory Park /Donnington way and thought Oulton a bit of a treck.

Oulton Park is probably about 15 minutes further away from me than Donington, but I count both as my local circuits! Quite a bit nearer than Silverstone though. Hope it goes well & look forward to seeing you next season
