You'll have probably noticed that the make 'Alpine Renault' or 'Renault Alpine' doesn't appear on their spreadsheet (I've been looking at 'VEH0220').
Both V5s for my cars just show Renault as the make with a blank space against 'Model'. When I first registered the cars in my name I put the full make and model number information on the application. For whatever reason, this was ignored. The A310 document even shows the Body type as 'Saloon'! At least the A110 is shown correctly as a 'Coupe'.
I notice on the spreadsheet that there are Renault entries with the word 'Missing' under the 'Model' column. The version of the spreadsheet VEH0220 that I looked at shows UK registrations to December 2015 ( I couldn't see the June 2016 that you looked at) and against 'Missing' shows a total of 11,033 cars (petrol) and 18 (other fuel type). I guess that my cars and all the other A110s and A310s are within this total. Possibly some GTAs and A610s also, who knows.
I might, sometime, have another go at getting the data on my V5s entered correctly. It makes me wonder whether the make 'Alpine' is still affected in this country by previous Sunbeam ownership of the name.

I saw the figures for Q2, which tells me that this is the June date.

As I understand it, a few of the clubs, some UK 'historic/heritage' departments of manufacturers and a few of the 'classic' mags have been trying to work with DVLA to tidy up their data. But the info was so poorly recorded (DVLA is a shambles run by disinterested idiots, so no surprise really) that they've barely scratched the surface after quite a few years of effort.

I was going to start a Testarossa Register ....... but DVLA dont say how many there are, seems they are lumped into the "missing" pot. Makes you wonder what these civil servants do to serve us.
