Where did the thread go ???

All moved to members only area....bit silly if you ask me as we are trying to find cars not hide them away

Set up a directory for each model.

Otherwise had people asking for their data to be removed from public areas which defeats the object of a register.

Think we probably pretty much have them all now with the CAR & RAOC lists added.

Majority of people with an interest are members anyway.

Has anyone asked for their data to be removed ?Its a list of reg numbers and cars that exist ....I don't care who owns them,does anyone ?Does paying 25 quid make the knowledge safer?

Yes had removal requests for registrations and pictures

No-one asked me to remove any data. It's all out there on the web.

It's not as if anyone is going to clone a GTA to avoid speeding/parking fines is it?

Ok,perhaps I don't have the correct club mentality....thank god. Also seems the Club had feck all to do with it until it was done .....a few people,members and not put effort in then it gets usurped and ' organised '

Hardly. If you look through all the posts there was only one notable contributing non member and I'm working on something for that.

Who do you think provided the basis for the Le Mans and 610 registers

What's wrong with a little organisation. It's all a great start and ultimately would be good for people to be able to update the info on their own cars as they change hands as per v6Clio so the register(s) are self sustaining in the future.

Who's usurped? Mr Taylor is now moderator of the registers area and has improved editing and access. All I've asked him to do is please separate out the Le Mans.
