Tales from the Scrapyard

Postby BIG_MVS » Fri Sep 16, 2016 8:08 am

The new breaker has landed at the BIG MVS Disposal facility.

Parts have started to be removed and sold on to new homes. It's an 1989 Atmo which was an unfinished project. The previous owner has started to hack all the body panels off (literally) as he wanted to fit a Le Mans kit. As 75% was already taken off the car and in boxes it was a no brainer to break it unfortunately.

I have started to take the interior out (the Black Leather has found a new home I think), took the steering wheel off (a must peeps otherwise you will damage the binnacle) and look what greeted me. Looks like it's been apart before...

Wise words! Anyway I get distracted and look away for a moment then look back and the bigger is talking to me!

Again wise words mate!

That's it for now. Anyone need anything let me know.

Wise words from the dashboard indeed lol

As 75% was already taken off the car and in boxes it was a no brainer to break it unfortunately.

I've got one more heavily stripped that I'm hoping to save. Has this one got ID?

The front end is good actually, surprisingly little rot and the door posts excellent.

Come on Ryan you should know me better than that my son......

Price is obviously very negotiable for a good home but it's more there as a potential savior if one gets front ended. Or if the frenchies are feeling flush they can have it.

Well managed to get your rear hub separated after a visit to my mate with a 100t press took 13t to get it to go, heading back your way.
