Returning Goods to Simon Auto's

I have a Le Mans sill moulding I have to return to Simon, but it costs a fortune... anyone got any ideas. Is there such a thing as a reverse charge courier?!

You can ask Simon to get his couriers to collect and then pay their charge. It is often cheaper to pay them than to pay a UK courier.

I'll email him again... thing is, I need him to pay for it as it was his mistake sending me the wrong one.... He sent a replacement but never collected the first one!

Yup, just tell him it is ready for collection and ask if he would prefer if you disposed of it.

It probably only cost him a few quid anyway...I assume its just a fibreglass moulding? Let him do the work!

Even if he is at fault he will usually charge for pickup. I bought a new A610 driveshaft from him at vast expense. It turned out to be a faulty return (used) that he bought from Alpine with a knocking joint. He's offered to re-build it if I send it back at my expense!

I'd just sell the part you have if it has any resale value.

Personally, I have had absolutely superb service from Andreas Simon and have visited him on several occasions. It is easier as I am in Germany but I often receive the requested item(s) long before I pay. If he has sent a wrong bit, I have never known him be awkward about accepting the part back and refunding my carriage. Be nice to him and he is a very good friend to have. Speak as you find - I say he is A1!
