Bischoff clamps/exhaust manifold clamps - hints?

Postby r5gordini » Mon Apr 10, 2017 1:28 pm

Hi All,

Now that my A610 is running again, I'm getting terrible exhaust blow from a couple of the short pipes that run to the turbo from the manifolds. I've tried undoing them, rotating things and jiggling them a bit for a better fit, but I just can't seem to get them to seal properly.

Does anyone have hints/tips on how to get them to seal properly? Yes, I do have the inner rings/gasket thingies fitted.

Thanks!

Andrew

There is a long and short run from the 90 bend ...are you sure you have them the correct way round ?

Nope! Absolutely not sure I have them the right way round! I'll check tomorrow.
