What's On
Get your motor running for London’s Motorsport at the Palace, a two-day event celebrating all eras of motoring, on Sunday 27th and Monday 28th August 2017.
Held at Crystal Palace, one of the oldest venues used for racing in the world and the first place from which live televised motor-racing was ever broadcast, Motorsport at the Palace attracts racing drivers from all over the world showcasing cars from historics right through to the latest supercars.
It’s a celebration of motoring so a must for any petrol head – be it a classic car nut, a supercar savant, former racing driver or someone who just loves cars! As well as club and private owner static displays, you get to see these amazing cars how they should be seen – in action!
The line-up of motorsport is second to none with a diverse range of cars spanning one hundered years of motoring, right up to the present day. Spectators get an up-close view of these amazing cars in action – not something you see everyday! Classes range from pre-war vintage to modern day so expect high octane competition, with around 75 cars running each day.
Around 35-45 clubs will display their cars alongside the trader village. Private owners can also take part in pole position parking in the classics area, meeting like-minded owners to showcase a multitude of marques.
Expect live music from The Rock Ola Rockets and vintage singer Jess De Giudici throughout the weekend, as well as main arena action and a family fun fair on site! Children's characters The Transformers will be joining us also! Plus Peppa and George Pig will be making personal appearances at intervals on each day - don't forget your cameras!
